Spicy BBQ Chicken

On Saturday it was our friends Birthday party and the occasion was celebrated with a BBQ at his place.  Phil and I decided to prepare some very spicy chicken wings and legs ready for the BBQ on Friday afternoon.  These are pretty spicy as we used Scotch Bonnet peppers which are about 5 times hotter than the regular Birdseye (Cabe Rawit) chillies we get here in Indonesia.

We made enough sauce here to allow plenty left for dipping into at the BBQ also.

Next time when we make this we shall use just half a can of Tomatoes, this one was a little runny.

All of our friends really enjoyed the chicken and sauce but  it didn't come out as spicy and hot as I was hoping.
Sadly we used up all of our Scotch Bonnets so we will either have to use loads of Indonesian chillies or wait until our Dorset Naga bushes have grown up and produced some fruit.

More to follow in a couple of days with an English style Roast Chicken dinner with some amazing Yorkshire Puddings on the side and a delicious gravy.
